SPC Ryan Price was severely wounded on May 7, 2008 while serving in Afghanistan. He lost both legs and incurred other injuries.
Friends are trying to help the family cover the cost of adding a room for Ryan onto the family home in Nuevo, CA. Help is needed in the following areas:

Friday, May 22, 2009: Ryan Price was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions in combat in Afghanistan.
An Army General presided over the award ceremony. He circulated among the two dozen wounded young men and spoke to each one, asking their names and asking how they were doing. And then he listened to what they said, actually interested in their responses. The General circulated through the civilians, shaking hands with each and asking them why they were here. “We’re here for Ryan,” most replied. The General returned to Ryan, noted the Screaming Eagle patch, and learned that Ryan was from the 506th of the 101st. “Ah,” the General said, “Currahee.” Bruce Moore and I (both in the 506th in Vietnam) chorused loudly, “Currahee!” The General smiled and said to Ryan, “I see you brought back-up.” Click Here for the full story.

The Ryan Matthew Price Trust is set up for the benefit of Ryan as needed throughout his lifetime (living expenses, personal items, furniture, appliances, etc.), but NOT for the building addition.
